The Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments) is a Canadian crown corporation established to invest the amounts transferred by the federal government since April 1, 2000, for the pension plans of the Public Service, the Canadian Forces and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and since March 1, 2007, for the Reserve Force Pension Plan. Net cash flows are expected to remain positive for the next two decades and therefore provide long-term liquidity for PSP Investments. Its competitive advantages allow PSP Investments to invest in a diversified portfolio of assets, including Canadian equity, real estate, infrastructure, foreign equity, nominal fixed-income assets and private equity. Assets are invested through in-house and external managers.
