McGinn Actuaries Ltd. is a privately held firm of consulting actuaries that services a nationwide clientele of retirement and health care plans, members of the legal and accounting profession and other organizations that require the valuation of the economic effects of potential future events.
We provide actuarial, consulting and plan design services for a broad range of programs, including:
* Multiemployer defined benefit retirement plans,
* Single employer defined benefit retirement plans,
* Group life and health plans,
* Defined contribution plans,
* Executive compensation and stock purchase plans
* Employee stock ownership plans.
Company History
Daniel F. McGinn has served in the actuarial profession for over forty years. As our company founder, Mr. McGinn began his actuarial consulting firm in 1974 as a spin-off from Transamerica.
In 1986, he merged the firm with Mercer, but left that organization in 1989 to form a new independent actuarial consulting firm. Many key former McGinn professionals re-joined him.
The new firm currently serves clients in a wide array of industries and employs eight professional actuaries, including four actuaries who provide services to the firm on a contractual basis, and a staff of actuarial systems specialists. Our contract actuaries have assisted Dan McGinn for a combined total of more than 45 years.
On average, our actuaries have over 20 years of experience providing professional actuarial and consulting services to traditional defined benefit retirement plans, defined contribution plans and health care programs. We provide actuarial services to several very large multiemployer plans.
