Established in 1983, Dean Health Plan is the insurance services subsidiary of Dean Health System and SSM Health Care. It maintains a position of leadership in insurance services through a physician-led integrated health system that improves the health status of its members and delivers a superior level of service and care.
Dean Health Plan earned the "Highest Member Satisfaction among Commercial Health Plans in the Minnesota/Wisconsin Region, Two Years in a Row", from the prestigious J.D. Power and Associates 2010 U.S. Member Health Insurance Plan StudySM. Dean Health Plan also holds an Excellent Accreditation - the highest accreditation available - from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for its commercial HMO product and received the 2009 Best of Business Award in the state from Corporate Report Wisconsin.
