Job Summary: 

Americo is currently hiring for an AVP, Annuity Products to oversee the entirety of the Fixed and Indexed Annuity lines for the Americo family of companies. This includes product development, monitoring experience, making crediting rate recommendations, and setting the long term product strategy.  

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate the long-term annuity product line strategy for existing business and new sales 
• Direct the pricing and development of new annuity products 
• Provide recommendations for interest crediting for new and renewal rates 
• Monitor profitability of and risks to the annuity portfolio 
• Oversee retention and conservation programs to maintain an optimal level of persistency 
• Personnel issues - hiring, firing, performance reviews, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of STAT, Tax, and GAAP Valuation, as well as regulatory requirements surrounding annuity products
• Knowledge of investment concepts, including hedging 
• Knowledge and experience using actuarial software for projections and pricing 
• Communication skills - written and oral 

Education:

• 4 year degree
• FSA
